Guest Pink Artist: Ruth Clarke

Here at PLP Central we love seeing the layouts trickle in from our Guest Designers.  Ruthy's was no exception.  Heres what she has to say....

"The power of One that is willing to make a change was very evident to me when reading the story of change for Violette when another mum in the USA -  Liz Hammer became her sponsor. Her life went from  a life of despair to a  life of hope. My way of thinking of my African Sister is that we are both  '2 mums with a dream for ourselves and our families. War and circumstance has taken it's toll on her dream and often shattered it, but with even just 1 connection of sponsorship I can make her world a better place and allow her to dream again and see those dreams become a reality. For this reason I strive to make change!"

Thanks Ruth for a a fantastic layout.  Have a good look at the detail of this layout.  What a fantastic concept.

Well from Amy, myself and everybody at the Pink Locker Project have a happy, joyus Christmas filled with lots and lots of laughter.  2007 is going to be a big year for the Project with all our major events swinging into action.

Just spare a thought on Christmas day for these women who are not as lucky as us, and know that the power to help someone else lies within you.

Guest Pink Artist - Lee Meredith

Lee Meredith joins the PLP guest artists by contributing ..... "African Women - help put back the pieces"  The message that Lee wanted to communicate was the portrayal of a  broken spirit - using the eye as a focus and a puzzle effect communicating the message to puting the women of Africa back together again".  Wow.  Thanks Lee.

Guest Pink Artist: Mistra Hoolahan

Here's what Mistra wrote....

"Hope you like it, I do, it's come to mean a lot to me... after so much research I found a connection and my voice and this is what I wanted to say.  This would be the first LO I've ever done to make a statement instead of record a part of our happy little lives.  It felt good, real good.  I hope we can make some difference... reading all I have has certainly enlightened me.  I'm proud and honoured to have been a part of this... ".
